XL Club

Hans Men's Sauna

Pen-Kun Kaikan
Gayifiers Recommneded
XL Club is one of the most popular gay saunas in Taipei, combining a gym and a bar. Although the gym equipment is somewhat outdated, the main clientele here are men aged between 25 and 40 — making it the sauna with the highest ratio of young and fit guys in Taipei. In addition to standard facilities, there’s also a rooftop terrace where guests can sunbathe nude. Inside, most people wear underwear. The steam room is the main cruising spot, and peak hours are usually on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 to 6 PM, as well as Fridays from 5 to 10 PM. Taipei Gay Cruising Hot Spring
Enjoying gay cruising in Taipei's hot springs is common and exciting. However, it's important to be respectful of others and keep a low profile. Let's create a pleasant atmosphere by being considerate and mindful of everyone's privacy and comfort.

Wulai 66
Cruising Ratio
Wulai 66 Hot Spring is located on Wulai Old Street, blending a hot-spring resort with a music lounge and bar. It offers public baths, private rooms, dining, and drinks all in one place, with a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Inside, you’ll find two large hot pools (around 42°C+ and 40°C), a cold plunge, a small spa pool, a mini sauna for about four people, plus two steam rooms and a smoking room downstairs—those steam rooms can get pretty lively sometimes 🤫.
Recently, the hot spring has become gay-friendly, and from 17:00 to 02:00, the venue shifts into its rainbow hours. There are six pools total (four hot, two cold), a sauna, steam rooms, and around 70 lockers. The setup is simple, but all the social corners you’d expect are there.
Weekends are busiest around 16:30–19:00, with the crowd thinning noticeably after 19:30. The mix of people is diverse and constantly rotating. As for eye candy—there’s definitely some—but the ones that make you stop and stare depend entirely on luck. The rest… you’ll have to explore yourself. 🌫️🌈

Kawayu-spa
Cruising Ratio
Kawayu Spa in Taipei offers three types of hot springs: Radium spring, Sulphur spring, and Mineral spring. Public Baths at Kawayu Spa in Taipei offer admission for NT$ 250 per person. Customers are required to bring their towels, or they can purchase them at the counter if needed. Coin lockers are available for use, and there is a fee of NT$ 20 for using them. While the spa has experienced a decline in popularity among gay men, there are still occasional stories or rumors about cruising activities taking place there. It's important to note that these activities may not be as prevalent as before. However, some visitors have mentioned or observed discreet encounters or cruising activities at Kawayu Spa. If you are specifically looking for a hot spring with a more active gay scene, Huang Chi Spa is currently known to attract a larger number of gay men and is often recommended for such experiences.
To reach Kawayu Spa in Taipei:
Option 1: Take the MRT to Beitou Station.
From there, either take a taxi directly to the spa. Option 2: Take the MRT to Shipai Station (3 stops before Beitou Station).

Shan Yue Hot Spring
Cruising Ratio
It is rumored that in recent days, Huang Chi has implemented new regulations during weekends, specifically closing the beloved steam room for the gays on Friday and Saturday nights. This action has caused great dissatisfaction among the gay community. As a result, Shan Yue Hot Spring in Xinbeitou has gradually become a new hot spot of gay cruising. Due to its convenient transportation and clean environment, it attracts a large number of visitors, increasing the chances of encountering people from the community. However, because of the high influx of people, it may be challenging to engage in gay cruising activities. Nevertheless, even if nothing significant happens, it is still a good place to relax and enjoy hot springs.
*The steam room has not been open recently (information updated on 06-03-2024)
Transportation: Take Exit 1 of Xinbeitou MRT Station and walk approximately 3 minutes in the direction of Can Kun.
