Gay Sauna Seoul|Where Foreigners Are Welcome
If you plan to visit a gay sauna in Seoul, it’s important to understand some cultural differences that may surprise foreign visitors. Much like Japan’s hattenba, many Seoul gay saunas have entry restrictions, often based on age, physique, or local preferences, which can feel exclusive to newcomers. Inside the dark rooms, it’s common for visitors to briefly use a lighter or phone flashlight to check each other’s faces—something not often seen in Western saunas. By knowing these rules and being mentally prepared, foreigners can enjoy a more positive and foreigner-friendly gay sauna experience in Seoul.

Prince Sauna
Prince Sauna is a smaller gay sauna in Seoul, located between Sinchon and Hongdae. Unlike other saunas, it doesn't have a sauna or steam room. They have restrictions based on physique and age for entry, and they explicitly state that they are not open to foreigners. However, despite these restrictions, you can still find older individuals and foreigners inside, which suggests that these limitations are quite flexible. Foreigners who meet their physical requirements can still enter. This sauna doesn't attract a high number of visitors, and you may not find many young students or handsome guys as other websites claim. However, the number of visitors is relatively higher during weekends, especially after 5 PM.
