For added comfort and privacy, hotel-like private rooms are available for an extra fee. Entry is restricted to those under 49 years old, with passport checks required. Currently, this gay sauna Osaka is temporarily closed on Tuesdays. Upon arrival, purchase your ticket at the vending machine and collect your locker key at the window. The space comfortably fits around 28 lockers. Come in underwear — complimentary slippers are provided in the locker.

The key system is simple: wear your key on your right hand if you're looking to receive, or on your left hand if you're looking to give. The venue has been incredibly popular — even on weekdays.

Despite its vintage appearance, the bathhouse is impeccably clean and well-maintained. Although there are not only gay, you can find gay cruising action spread throughout the Konpira Onsen rather than relying solely on luck while visiting. It's no wonder this Onsen is known as one of the hottest gay cruising spots in Osaka and ranked number one. What's even better is that the entry fee is below ¥500, making it an incredibly affordable and worthwhile visit. If you're seeking an authentic cruise bathing experience, this bathhouse is a must-visit destination. The onsen features diverse bathtubs, including jet stream baths, electric baths, and radon hot springs. Additionally, they offer a dry and steam sauna for your relaxation. You can bring your towels and soap, although these items are available for purchase. The peak hours are typically around 6:00 p.m., attracting visitors from various backgrounds. Please note that the establishment is closed on Tuesdays.

 

Ponpoko Onsen

This public bathhouse is located along the Chuo Circular Road in Higashi-Osaka, Japan, and it is considered the original super sento operated by a family in the Kansai region. The bathhouse is a three-story building with a reception and changing rooms on the second floor, and the bathing area on the third floor. You have a great opportunity to meet many like-minded friends at this public bath. People of various ages, ranging from 20 to 50, visit this place. In comparison to Kinpira Onsen, the people here generally have average body types. The highlight of this bathhouse is the steam sauna, where you can immediately feel the unique atmosphere. If you encounter someone interesting, you can make a move in the steam sauna.
Additionally, the "milk bath" in the outdoor bathing area is another cruising spot where like-minded individuals gather, and there may be some ambiguous encounters in the pool. In Japanese bathhouses, the gay community tends to be more active as the night progresses, and this place is open until 1 AM. However, please note that it is a bit far from the city center and the train station, so be mindful of the last train timings.
